Growing up I was quite the tom boy. I practically lived outdoors. We were not allowed to watch a lot of tv shows. I believe it was back in the late late 60's when the Melba Moore show use to come on. Remember? That was one of the shows I was allowed to watch. Now moving forward a bit. A comedian icon of our era - Lucille Ball! She was hysterical. Quite the legend. I love watching the syndicated shows when they return. I love Lucy...best sitcom ever! Another fun family show...The Wonderful World of Disney. Every Sunday we would watch Face the Nation with Roger Mudd and Walter Conkrite, then right afterwards would be the The Wonderful World of Disney. This was family time. We would have hot chocolate and grilled cheese or something very light for dinner because on Sundays, we would have brunch as a family. Later programs that I always enjoyed were shows such as The Waltons, the Jackson Five, The Osmonds, The Partridge Family. I also loved watching the Bionic Man/Wonder ...

There were quite a few TV programmes I loved watching when I was younger. Little House On The Prairie, The Greatest American Hero, The Waltons, Charlies Angels and I think one of the most popular programmes of my youth - Fame. Everyone my age remembers that, and we all talk about how we used to dance and pretend we were Fame dancers. I used to go down to our shed, turn the music up and dance my little heart out, with the spins and leaping. Oh and the legwarmers, remember them. Every time you hear the theme music for those old shows it brings back the memories. It was good times 'back in the day.'
